Once again, it's been a little while since I've posted. Not sure that there's anything newsy to post...
The new job is going well and I'm enjoying what I do. It seems busyness comes in waves, and I'm in a trough this week (hence the post). Things will probably pick up again next week.
I started myself on an exercise regimen in attempt to get myself back into shape, with the help of my new friend, Google app Noom. It keeps track of exercise, how many calories I've burned, and there's a calorie counter to keep track of each meal and snack. I'm realizing just how many calories I eat, and I don't even eat excessively (everyone gives me a hard time for eating like a bird). Keeping that under control is going to be harder than the exercise. I'm only 3 days in, and already I'm a little stressed about counting calories. The worst part is, I can't stand the taste of artificial sugar/sweetener (the 0 calorie stuff), and I don't like enough fruits and veggies (or can't find good fresh stuff). No one ever said losing weight was easy... and counting calories is tedious work!
The point of the diet/workout is not because I have any issues with my image, but for the more practical concern of my pants are getting a little tight, and I can't afford to buy a new wardrobe. That and I can healthily be 10lb lighter. K thinks I look fine, which is a good thing, but also bit of a deterrent to exercising... but I'm dragging him into the exercise with me to help with the accountability. And he is perfectly fine with more exercise. He does a good job of pushing me just a little further, because he always needs more exercise than I want/need. And Pata will be happy as well, because I've scheduled at least 2 walks a week, which is much more than she gets now.
