Finish Year Update

Hi faithful readers! (All 4 of you that actually follow me...)

I wanted to post an update on my Finish Year goals. Here's what I've accomplished so far:

1. I've been mostly good about this, although last week I don't think I walked enough. Part of the problem is when I eat lunch at the cafe downstairs, that's my lunch break and I don't go for a walk. I haven't been bringing my lunch as much because of the lack of things to bring (other than a sandwich). So today, I made a sandwich and a bag of cheeze-its, and will be going for a walk shortly.

2. Last week was also not so good on exercising 3x. My church's fitness class was cancelled, and I tried to sign up for one at the local rec center, but that also got cancelled and trying to switch into a different class was getting too complicated. So for the time being, we've been DDR-ing (yes, it's a word... because I said so) and riding bikes. I have to build back up my endurance after not biking much over the winter, but we did 10 miles on Saturday.

3. Not making any progress. At least I'm maintaining.

4. Haven't been running much. I have a friend who will go with me, but we haven't set up a time.

5. We've done better about getting fresh produce from the farmer's market. It's also smoothie season now that the weather is warming up, so this is a good way to incorporate fruit.

6. The Mac should be coming in Aug or Sept, which isn't as timely as I would like. That only gives me a few months to finish my story before the end of the year, so I need to find motivation to sit at my computer and work on it.

7. No hobby as of yet. Reading still seems to be the thing I enjoy doing the most, but I have a hard time classifying that as a hobby. I found an interest in graphic design, but I need software to do anything with it.

8. Haven't cleaned out my basket yet... need to find some time soon.

I pretty much have zero accountability on any of these goals, except for when my husband occasionally remembers that I have them and asks about them. But I'm trying anyway.
